I never said he was a good person. I said he was my favorite character who was relatable to my life. He wasn't a nice man by any means, but he was "the bravest man I ever knew."

I think Snape is the saddest character in Harry Potter because he loved Lily so much and then she fell in love with James and James bullied Snape then later he found out that Lily was dead and he cried over her corpse then remember that scene when Dumbledoor said some stuff and Snape was like "The boy has to die?!😢"then Snape was killed by Voldemort & Nigini

He's one complex character but other than that, I have nothing pleasant to say about him.

Well although Severus loved Lily he also HATED James and the fact that Harry’s physical appearance looks a lot like James and his reckless behavior reminds Severus of James made him not so friendly with Harry. Even though Harry has Lily’s eyes.

Snape was a bad person. He held a schoolboy grudge against James and took it out on Harry. But what was the reason for his bad behaviour against the other Gryffindors? Neville in particular? Neville was so terrified of Snape that his Boggart was Snape?!

Just because Harry learnt about his "sacrifices" in the last part, I don't think Snape became the good guy. Maybe he served the good side but he was a bad person at heart. And I have no idea why Harry would name his son after that man.

(Alan Rickman somewhat humanized Snape. Book Snape is much, much worse than movie Snape.)

That is true. But Snape shared the memory with Harry because Snape wanted to help Harry win and defeat Voldemort.

I'm a Ravenclaw. Even I like Slytherin! Why can't we just respect Snape?

I am totally with you he had a terrible past to being bullied at school and being abused at home, then having the girl that you loved being taken away by the person who enjoys bullying you.
