Hey everybody, so I saw there hasn´t been much activity on this section so I made a small little quiz (keeping the Paranormal theme). I´m a sucker for quizzes. Have fun seeing your "probabilities" of surviving and post what you got.

Yeah, guess it is. But in the paranormal world it could happen.

According to your quix, I have a 57% chance of survival.
Not sure I'd really want to drink the vampire's blood though in fear that I'd be turned. I wouldn't call that really "surviving" because you still lose in the end.

I also got 57%, I'm pretty sure (missed three either way). Clicked off the page on accident before I found the thread again. The last question I put an answer and looking back at it, I picked one that I probably would never be able to do anyways, haha.

I got a 71% chance of survival! Woo-hoo! Not sure I'd have the presence of mind to survive in the actual situation, though:) Fun quiz.

Ok I have read hundreds of vampire books and watched many movies and Tv shows. Apparently this was not enough to prepare me or my vampires are just too friendly! I sadly score 28%....I had already perished before I could write this post! Lol!

Oh! Movies nowadays, vamps are always tricky there are too many sources saying diffrent stuff. Now if Tv is a source everyone would be ready for a zombie outbreak (hopefully)lol.

Can I just say that Vamps have very good hearing so if they're asleep and you do anything loud enough they'll hear it and wake up. That and if you try running chances are the vamp will be faster than you. Just saying, in a fight between you and a vamp, my money's on the vamp. Sorry.

Yea, I think it is all about the vampire. I got a 28% but I choose 2 answers I knew they didn't want. So people, ...
What kind of vampire?
Kate Daniels vampire- No chance whatsoever, at all 0.1% (they go after someone else)
Anita Blake vampire- depends if they are hungry or want to play. This is probably my 28%
Lynsay Sands vampire- No problem 98% (there are rogues)

I feel so lost. Can some give me a quick lesson on the different kinds of vamps? You can PM if ya want.

Kate Daniels has to have some of the most creepy vampires. They are dead that are reanimated and then piloted by navigators, not the romance vampires, whether scary but still in the human vein and wanting something from humans. No these will attack if not leashed by the navigator, and they are deadly. Then there are the vampires with sentience who might want to use humans to the ones that want to romance them.

It looks like you are a YA fan, so may have skipped Kate Daniels. Its a favorite by most fans of UF, but it's not YA, really good, though it takes sticking in the first book past the 1/2 way point.

Okay that makes sense. I only do YA at the moment, but when I'm older I'll try it out :)

Yes, it is an adult read. I wouldn't (would not) give it to my 15 year old quite yet, but she doesn't really like the paranormal. I had to force the Harry Potters on her and we only got to book 3. She did watch all the movies but that was to keep up with her friends. I bought the Divergent, Hunger Games, all those type books and she is uninterested. My son loved fantasy, scifi, and paranormal, (Harry Potter when he was preteen) so we could share so much there but... alas, different strokes for different folks.

Yeah, I can get that...kind of. I'm 16 myself but I haven't even gotten into NA yet.

In real life? I would just keep away from the vampire so they can't feed on me. Now if the vampire can fly or has a lot of strength...I'm in trouble.

If my character Porma met a vampire.... depends on the vampire exactly.

I got a 71%. When I looked at the answer where we're supposed to bite them and drink their blood I face palmed so hard. That would stop the vampire from wanting to drink all of your blood if it doesn't want to create more vampires.
