Hello!

The book Null won the Norwegian award Tarjei Vesaas' debutantpris in 2013.

When I added the award to the book, it didn't add the book to the existing award, but instead created a new award with the same name (as you can see when searching).

What's the reason for this, and how do I fix it? I was planning on adding more past winners of this award too.

I just tried adding Historien om Gly, which ended up on the same, new award.

First I thought maybe the single quote was a different character (like a curly quote instead of a straight quote, or something), but I copied the award name verbatim from the old award page this time, and the same thing happened.

Please stop adding awards until you've heard from an experienced librarian. Adding awards is not the easiest of things on GR, and there are people working very hard to keep the awards list accurate.

Speaking from experience here. :) I inadvertently created a new award once, and I couldn't figure out what I had done wrong. Had a look at your award and can't see what has gone wrong here either. Hopefully someone will show up soon!

There was a space before the first word of the award name.

Oh! Strange, considering I wrote it in manually on one book and pasted it in on the other. Thanks a lot, I'll make sure to watch out for that next time!

It was on the old award, not the one you created.
