Karina - I found a book called Lethal Medicine by James L Murray - no idea of the quality but there's a pharmacist in that :)

Failing that - a pharmacist who appears in the book would be fine if it's too tricky!

I found a couple GR lists by searching "fantasy road trip."

There's a road trip in The Man in the High Castle, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, American Gods, and this, Harry Truman's Excellent Adventure: The True Story of a Great American Road Trip, which looks really good to me. :)

2) Travels With Charley by John Steinbeck

Maybe a comedian celebrity -- knock out two at once.

I just remembered that I read The Crown Tower; that's basically a road trip (plus a heist).

Derrick (noetichatter) This challenge looks like a good opportunity to dig into my 100+ collection of unread books in Kindle and Nook libraries -- not to mention dozens of owned unread tree-books.

I doing well but kind of stumped on finding someone with my occupation. I'm mostly a mom but also a music teacher and a cake decorator and an editor.

Derrick (noetichatter) I am doing two challenges, and some of the categories could cross over well enough. I am going to try and not cross over, though I expect that since the total is something like 70 books, I will end up shortcutting a bit as we get later into the year. Especially as I am starting 3 months late.

Still fun though!

If you don't mind reading YA, Bridge to Terabithia has a music teacher in it. Also YA, Speak has an art teacher.

Same here. Books about housewives seem rare. You might have to use your college major or a previous job.

The 13th Reality series has a stay-at-home mom as a main character, though not the main protagonist. I've started The Fairy-Tale Detectives. The grandma is a main character.

Haven't read it myself, not my kind of book. Pretty well known in my country. The book even made it into a movie with Carice van Houten as the protagonist. You may know her as she also plays (that evil witch) Melissandre in the hbo ASOIAF

Raven I'm gonna assume that's a typo xD so go for satirical.

If anyone has already completed that particular challenge with something involving a Satyr that's fine otherwise go for Satire!
