Karina - I found a book called Lethal Medicine by James L Murray - no idea of the quality but there's a pharmacist in that :)
Failing that - a pharmacist who appears in the book would be fine if it's too tricky!

The Electric Kool Aid Acid Test sort of works, although I've read that one already. Hopefully someone comes up with more suggestions.

I found a couple GR lists by searching "fantasy road trip."
There's a road trip in The Man in the High Castle, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, American Gods, and this, Harry Truman's Excellent Adventure: The True Story of a Great American Road Trip, which looks really good to me. :)

I've already read The Martian, LOTR, Hobbit, and Hitchhiker's series. I'll browse the other ones.
I was also wondering who counts as a celebrity. How famous do they have to be?

Most of us have read The Fellowship of the Ring before, but so many of us are doing the buddy read now. And that is definitely one heck of a "road trip".
Audrey wrote: "Has anyone found a good book about a road trip?"
On the Road with Jack Kerouc should count, too. Possibly Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

Yeah, they are two good books and also try these:
1) Blue Highways by William Least Heat-Moon,
2) Travels With Charley by John Steinbeck

Hard to say. Would a biography of a celeb count? :P

Maybe a comedian celebrity -- knock out two at once.
I just remembered that I read The Crown Tower; that's basically a road trip (plus a heist).

I doing well but kind of stumped on finding someone with my occupation. I'm mostly a mom but also a music teacher and a cake decorator and an editor.

Still fun though!

If you don't mind reading YA, Bridge to Terabithia has a music teacher in it. Also YA, Speak has an art teacher.

Same here. Books about housewives seem rare. You might have to use your college major or a previous job.
The 13th Reality series has a stay-at-home mom as a main character, though not the main protagonist. I've started The Fairy-Tale Detectives. The grandma is a main character.
