Taylor Brake | 4 comments Hi there! Just starting my reading challenge. I've almost completed picking a book for each topic on the list that I can. I've got a big display started in my room to show all the categories and stuff. The only challenge I have hit so far is the book with a protagonist that has the same job as you. I am an early childhood educator and it's been difficult to find a book with someone who is an ECE in the book. I'm looking forward to this journey. I've been over busy lately and have strayed away from reading so I hope this challenge will bring me back to my love for reading. I'm excited to get started but picking a book is hard so I figured I would throw all the categories into a bag and read the books by random draw! Add a little bit of suspense and chaos into my life!

Taylor Brake | 4 comments So my first pick from my random draw was a book being made into a movie in 2016 so I have picked Fallen by Lauren Kate. Looking forward to reading it.

Taylor Brake | 4 comments Finished reading Fallen by Lauren Kate! Was an amazing book. Was afraid at first that I wouldn't be able to get into it because I haven't had the focus to read lately but I found myself thinking about it when I wasn't home to read it. I loved the characters in it. I don't think there was a bad character in it. The idea was new and refreshing after so many books that seem to follow the same plot lately. Looking forward to book number two which by random draw will be a book where a protagonist has your occupation. The book I have chosen is the Learning Curve by Melissa Nathan.
