Any favourites/recommendations from the books you've read so far?

I have had a good run! This group points me to books that I wouldn't have found on my own. I generally take a pass on anything Nazi and I was sad to give Schindler's List back to the library. I was telling everybody about The Martian while I was reading it. I'm still practicing on graphic novels, it's not really my thing yet, but I am somewhere between curiosity and fascination with the genre and the Ex Machina crew does it well.

I guess my top recommendation from this short list is The Martian. Of course I have not seen the movie yet and probably would not have read the book if I had seen the movie.

The Martian was very fun! I usually reserve 5 stars for something special in a book. I gave this one 5 stars for pure entertainment value. I have not seen the movie, but heard Matt Damon's voice in my head while I read it. Great casting for the written word and the screen!
