So far I've consumed 9 spoonfuls of soup. How's everyone else doing?

Wow. Now I'm feeling inadequate. Though I've read 25 books so far this year, they haven't all counted toward the challenge. Good for you!
Three more titles to go, two of which I'm 60% of the way through. I guess everyone else is finished the challenge...?
