The book is going good with not many characters to follow. Manhattan police dectectives Lt. Jack Dawson (widower, father of two children) and Lt. Rebecca Chandler investigating murders pointing to "rat" teeth marks eating at victums. A Caribbean voodoo priest, Baba Lavelle ("Bacor" - witchcraft and sorency powers) is after Jack and the Carramazza mafia family (Vince and Gennaro). A new tone starts with Jack and Rebecca romance...

This one was a bit different for me. I'm still not sure where it falls on my Koontz's list of preferences. Pretty sure it ranks higher than "Your Heart Belongs to Me" or "The Bad Place."

Did you enjoy "Your Heart Belongs to Me"?

Nearing the ending is good with the Saint Patrick Cathedral theme.....Rebecca and Jack can use to save the children from the goblins without loss. But Jack & Rebecca's "romance" end could have been better....

I am having a hard time getting into this one. Maybe it's because I read it right after Saint Odd and I liked that so much. Also for some reason I don't care as much for the books originally released under "Owen West".

I do plan on reading Darkfall later this month.

I haven't finished it yet but will be up for discussion in week or two.

I hated it, and "The Bad Place." Actually, these are the only two books that I hate from Mr. Koontz.

I like The Bad Place but I'm not impressed with Your Heart Belongs to Me.

I need to get an audiobook of Darkfall from the library, but I have $10 in fines that I have to pay before they will let me check out books again :-)
