The differance between the book and the show

Everything is different. Honestly I thought the show was much better then the books.

The books were rather predictable.

Clarke's Parents are still alive in the books but in the series, It is just the mother that's alive!

In the books, both Clarke's parents were floated but in the series, it was her father.

In the book series, Bellamy and Wells are siblings and Jaha is the father but not in the series.

There is no Lincoln, Lexa and others characters in the books.

Wells is still alive in the books.

There are many differences actually.

there a lot of different characters. Like Finn is not in the book, neither is Charlotte. Wells doesn't die (that was when I stopped watching the show, it was so annoying that they didn't follow the book plot)

And Bellarke! When I read the book I immediately fell in love with that couple but in the show they didn't put them together.

This is one of the few times I've preferred the adaption to the book; I liked that bellarke happened but then a LOT of my fav characters were missing (raven, monty, jasper, lincoln, lexa, rowan, etc)

I prefer the show to the books. I felt like the books took place in the first 3episodes, and the show took it past them just coming to earth. The books are more about teenage relationships, while the show was about survival.

I actually knew about the show first and I watch the first season. I loved Clarke and Bellamy sooo much ! And I wanted them together, so I looked on internet, if they would be together at some point or not. but when i found out that Clarke actually had some relations with someone else I was so sad, and then I found this post saying that in the book they do have a relation so I bought the book ! And I really enjoyed it ! To be honest, it was kind of boring (for me) the parts when it was Glass's point of view. I enjoy the concept of the fact that you see what happens in the "ship" but I wasn't a fan of Glass... At the end, I enjoyed this book and I think that I will read the next ones !

I just realized that I'm so not in the subject of the chat group 😂 ! They were a lot of differences but both are good, you can see that the plot is kind of the same with 100 kids going to earth for the first time and then they realize that they're not the only humans, ect... I think that they killed Wells and didn't put any romance between Clarke and Bellamy because they wan't to show more the fact of a female protagonist trying to make good choices for her people..
