When that thing/project you've been trying to perfect that you've been pulling your hair out over and ready to throw things off a bridge finally FINALLY gets figured out and it's smooth sailing suddenly..... :)
Sorry some built up tension there. I'll get back to reading now

Now you can relax and enjoy your reading even more :)
Thanks :) 90% of it was making a foolhardy decision in buying what I thought I wanted, rather than the right machine for me. But I will not be buying this brand ever again and only trusting the few that I have a good experience with.
Thanks for the Mod description update for me, Scott (at least, that's my guess).
Lost in the Imperial Warren, or maybe the Shattered Warren....or maybe the Abyss.
I'm alive and back - sorry to leave you guys hanging.

I can also see that Uncle Whiskeyjack is really moving up in the world. The Crippled God, eh?

It was so epic I had to change it. Even after I was done for a few weeks different parts would float back into my consciousness. Feel free to put me back in my place with an Iskaral Pust monicker.

After I get over the guilt of abandoning you guys, I might have to do just that.

If only we could all live inside of our favourite book universe..
oh wait....on second thoughts, Malazan might not be the best place to live.

No guilt. I was just razzing you. You really should finish it when you're mentally prepared. What an ending.

That depends on who you are in the Malazan universe. I wouldn't mind being Cotillion or Quick.

My sister gave them attention and kept them occupied for me 😁

They're so cute. I'm glad there's other animal lovers on here!We just got a puppy. I loathe puppies... don't get me wrong they're so cute, but I prefer my sanity. At least my older dog can endure some of the harassment for me

Just got my 10 years of service gift from work- a "10 year" retractable ID badge holder and a tiny lapel pin.
Beaming with pride folks... beaming with pride

LOL I got my 10 year last month. We get to pick from a gift website with various pieces of crap from jewelry, luggage, small rafts, blenders, coffee makers, etc. I picked a piece of luggage which can be carried like a gym back or has wheel for the airport. I looked it up on Samsonite's website. $39 retail!!!!!
On an unrelated note the wife got the kids fidget spinners. I had to have one so she picked one up for me after the fact. Totally addicted. ADHD!!!!!!!

That's funny, I was just looking at some videos on YouTube of them, and I was mesmerized. I want one so bad! I love to fidget with random things as it is

Me too. Drives the wife nuts.

I was watching youtube music videos with the two little ones to entertain them. When I came upon the gem below and all I could think was wind puppets must elicit some strong emotion from Margret. :)
Ya I saw that. Weiland, Cornell, Cobain and Layne Staley. The grunge generation has been hit pretty hard. I know I'm in the vast minority but I like all of these bands more than Pearl Jam. I liked PJ but I'm just tired of them at this point. They have been so overplayed and are like classic rock to me at this point. I just don't get the people who have seen them dozen of times and travel to do so in many cases.

Bowie and Frey and Prince et al were all tough last year, but Cornell was close to my age.
Ok well or you try and try to get tickets for their shows because they're old as fuck, but then can't because you aren't a ticket robot... then one of them can't play anymore because they have dementia,
Or they've done so many drugs they can hardly function let alone sing any more and your image is ruined of them (cough Ozzy cough)

I suppose that for rock stars this is around the age (Chris for example) where their hard lifestyles start to catch up with them and they burn out super hard too. I would never want to be famous that's for sure
The only band I wish I had seen while I could and didn't is STP.
BTW I saw Ozzy in 83 with Motley Crue opening up. I've also seen one show in Toronto at the ampitheatre in Ontario Place, I believe that same year but I'm not sure. It was Red Rider whose one hit Lunatic Fringe I still love.

Also small club shows blow auditorium or open stadium shows out of the water. I saw Guns and Roses before they were anybody at a place in Providence that might hold 100 people. Jane's Addiction, Letters to Cleo, Everclear and others at places that might hold 300. The Orpheum in Boston holds about 2500 and I've seen dozen of bands there. So much better than large arenas.
