The way I want to do it is at the beginning of the month everyone name a book or a couple of books that they want featured for the next month. Within the last week or two I will compile all of them into a poll that will be sent out to each member and you can cast your vote and then I will post the results the last week of the month. Once we have been going for a couple of months, you can be reading the books we have selected for the month while waiting on the polls. Since Sept 1st is tomorrow, we will start the polls for October and start the group read in October.

Of course this is not mandatory to stay in the group. Just looking forward to doing a group read! I am looking forward to reading your suggestions!

When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi is one I have been SO wanting to read and have heard great things about...BUT...I understand if it needs to be brought up at a later date as it is only available in hardcover. My other choice would be The Tennis Partner by Abraham Verghese (author of Cutting for Stone). The other suggestions look great as well! Looking forward to a group read!
