Martin Belcher (martinbelcher) | 1 comments I know it's not really book related but is anyone watch season 2 of Fear the Walking Dead? I can highly recommend it!
I know a lot of people were not keen on season one and gave up watching it but if you hung on until season2 you are rewarded with a chilling addictive, tense storyline.
It's only available on AMC channel on BT vision but if you haven't got access to AMC you can buy and watch each episode on Amazon Prime Video or iTunes.

Hernan Ruiz Camauer (heruca) | 8 comments Been watching since the start. It's OK, good for getting a zombie fix while waiting for the next season of Walking Dead to start.

Albert Yates (albertyates) | 8 comments I watched the first season and really enjoyed the story and pace. I haven't jumped into season 2 yet though. I have been meaning to.

I still haven't caught up on the Walking Dead yet, I'm 2 series behind! I will definitely watch this though. I still think they should do a series set in another country, I'd love to know how the UK is holding up

Albert Yates (albertyates) | 8 comments It would be amazing to see how different countries handled this sort of event. Maybe petition the BBC to pick up an adapation.

R.S. (rs_cartier) | 5 comments I watched season 1, and have to be honest to you, I had to force myself after the midway point on AMC's reputation alone. I mean it really started off good IMHO, but then it just kinda lost its way. My wife bailed by the end, kinda watching it cause I watched it as she did stuff on her phone while it played.

We are DVR'ng the second season. Its good that people are saying its better. It was the son that did it to me. Yeah, life's falling apart all around you, just go all weird and nuts on me that's all. Just a bit too soon.

Thia (thial) | 14 comments I hated season 1. I barely finished. Season two has been much better but so far I still hope the original cast (and writers ;) get eaten and we can just start over.

message 8: by Fishface (new)

Fishface I never heard of this series. Is it on disc yet? (I don't have any TV reception where I live.)

Karen Mccollin | 12 comments Started watching season 1 but never finish it

Thia (thial) | 14 comments @Fishface
Season one is out on DVD. I wouldn't spend 5$ on it though.

message 11: by Fishface (new)

Fishface Oh, no, I was thinking of going next door to rent it if they have it...

message 12: by Jack (new)

Jack Lewis | 7 comments Mod
You have a rental place right next door to you?

message 13: by Becci (new)

Becci | 1 comments I agree with Thia. I watched all of season 1 & 2 and was wishing they would all be eaten. It had such promise and I was very disappointed. I can't wait for TWD to come back in October though!

message 14: by Mathology (new)

Mathology (thegraveyard) Everyone talking about Fear the Walking dead. But has anyone checked out Z Nation? I love that show.

Next door to the office. And a DQ on the other side. Life is good.

Allan Ashinoff (allanjashinoff) | 2 comments I watch this show even though I find it disappointing.

Very amusing show. I loved the giant cheddar wheel. :)

message 18: by Fishface (new)

Fishface nation is a little crashy-bangy for me -- so much attitude. (And yet many have heard me complain that there's too much human drama and not enough gutmunch in TWD.)

message 19: by Angela (new)

Angela Verdenius (angelacatlover) Z Nation I enjoy, The Walking Dead I love.
Fear the Dead? I battled my way through that. Couldn't get over the stupidity and selfishness of some of the characters. If I get caught in a zombie apocalypse, I'd rather go it alone than go with the cast of Fear the Walking Dead!
I get it on DVD as I live Down Under and don't Netflix or Foxtel. I just keep hanging out...waiting LOL. Come the 26th Sept, I'll have the TWD season 6 in my hot little hands!

message 20: by Hernan (new)

Hernan Ruiz Camauer (heruca) | 8 comments Giving Z Nation a try, thanks to this thread. Not sure how I feel about the fast zombies, yet. Then again, might be a good chance of pace (pardon the pun) from the slow shamblers we're all accustomed to.

message 21: by Thia (new)

Thia (thial) | 14 comments ZNation isn't a serious post apocalyptic show like TWD. It's TWD on LSD. B-movie so bad it's good crazy. I watch it only because I love apocalyptia THAT much - but it's not high drama. Utterly ridiculous but better than nothing imo.

You're a genius!

I watch Z Nation and think it is great, the cheese ball is my favourite bit, very funny.

message 24: by Vicky (new)

Vicky Mullen | 3 comments Love TWD, find it a bit intense at times (who has Negan killed??) Enjoy Z Nation, its got some great bits and in someways it can be more realistic than TWD, running out of bullets at crucial times, Lack of neccesties, like toliet paper and suffering from ptsd. Fear TWD, I like Nick, hate Maddison, think it relies on TWDs reputation to get people to watch it. I keep hoping it will get better.

hIpnoticraQs (raqnbelly) They'd better not kill Abraham off, I have a feeling they did.

message 26: by Hernan (new)

Hernan Ruiz Camauer (heruca) | 8 comments My bet is on the kid.

message 27: by hIpnoticraQs (new)

hIpnoticraQs (raqnbelly) Carl?

message 28: by mary jenkins (new)

mary jenkins | 2 comments I hope not Carl, he's suppose to take over when Rick's gone. My bet is Eugene.

message 29: by mary jenkins (new)

mary jenkins | 2 comments Watch it be Glenn...i'm excited for the new season but also sad someone is leaving.

message 30: by Hernan (new)

Hernan Ruiz Camauer (heruca) | 8 comments Gee, thanks a lot for the spoiler.

message 31: by hIpnoticraQs (new)

hIpnoticraQs (raqnbelly) Sorry, there's still a surprise left.

I finally have season 3 of Z Nation sitting near the TV waiting for me. Once I get enough time off work, I'm doing a back-to-back marathon of ZNation! Cannot wait. I peeked at the trailers on youtube - am I right in thinking that cheese ball is still rolling?!

message 33: by Angela (new)

Angela Verdenius (angelacatlover) I can't believe I caved in and got Fear the Walking Dead season 2. I can only blame it on 2 things - I was off work following minor surgery and had to lie on the sofa going from side-to-side baking like a freakin' chook, and I was in zombie withdrawals (this was before S3 of ZNation came out). In a very weak moment I bought FTWD. OMG - I spent two days yelling at the TV, throwing up my hands, swearing and wishing to hell they'd all get the eaten. That family is a DISASTER! I'd rather face a horde of zombies than that family. I'm not a violent person by nature, but I really wanted to punch the mother especially. As for the sons and the Dad? Don't get me started. The daughter isn't too bad, I think she's the only one with at least a bit of decency in her. Enough said!!!!

message 34: by Angela (new)

Angela Verdenius (angelacatlover) So, finished watching The Walking Dead season 7 on DVD. What a ride! Loved it! Man, Neegan is some weird bloke. His sayings had me laughing but creeped out all at the same time. He is seriously twisted. The only thing I can complain about is that i wish there were more zombies in it...they were kind of back-story this time. I guess as a series it has to evolve and now people are almost more of a threat than the zombies, but I miss the hordes. Bring me hordes!!!!

R.S. Merritt | 11 comments I liked Fear TWD right when it came on as I really like the action scenes around when the ZA first starts.
