Melinda (minna17) What are you reading this week?
Beauty Queens by Libba Bray

Which challenge did you pick? What is the category?
The challenge I picked is the #LitsyAtoZ challenge. The category is to read a book with the title or the author's last name starting with B.

Why did you choose this category?
It was this or any of the other letters and this book fitted for B.

Rokkan (rokk) | 96 comments What are you reading this week?
The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August by Claire North

Which challenge did you pick? What is the category?
It's from the Popsugar Reading Challenge 2017, and the challenge was A book with a month or day of the week in the title

Why did you choose this category?
I already had myself set up to do the Popsugar challenge, and this was, I think, the only book I have in my somewhat extensive collection that actually fit the challenge.

Emily (emilyesears) | 412 comments What are you reading this week?

Razing Hell: Rethinking Everything You've Been Taught about God's Wrath and Judgment

- Which challenge did you pick? What is the category?

The A Year of Fun in the Sun challenge from the Wacky Reading Challenges group. I chose prompt 8 which is:

8. HOT! HOT! HOT!
Read a book with a hot cover. Hot is open to interpretation :)

(I think I was meant to choose a romance novel, but I went in a different direction.)

Why did you choose this category?

This book had been on my TBR for a long while and I wanted to get it read.

A:
Popsugar 25. A book you loved as a child

Q: Why did you choose this category?
A:
I wanted to read something light because I'm out of time. So this seems to be a good book. I miss the old days...

MissLemon | 592 comments The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (Hitchhiker's Guide, #1) by Douglas Adams The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

Popsugars 2016 challenge which I started and didn't complete so several I'd chosen for that transferred to ATY 2017. It fits several but will put it down as 'Guaranteed to give you joy'

I chose this category as it was a re-read which I don't normally allow myself to do but it's several years since I read this and I really wanted to listen to the Audio/Dramatised version ( I also read the book which has a blue cover - another category on the PopSugar List)

- Which challenge did you pick? What is the category?
The 2016 Popsugar Reading Challenge
Book Based on a fairy tale

- Why did you choose this category?
I'm trying to catch up and since I read 38 books already and just finished that book I might as well include it in my challenge and cross it off my list.

Book Riot's Reader Harder Challenge. The category is "travel memoir".

- Why did you choose this category?
Because my face-to-face book club meetup is reading this!

Jessica (jesbee) What are you reading this week?
I read The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness
The Knife of Never Letting Go (Chaos Walking, #1) by Patrick Ness

Which challenge did you pick? What is the category?
I picked out this prompt back in December or January, so to be honest, I don't remember which challenge I chose from. I chose the prompt, First book in a series you haven't read before

Why did you choose this category?
I like simple prompts. My goal this year was to try to read a lot of books that have been on my TBR list for a long while. So mostly I have been trying to find books already on my list that fit into the different categories. The more obscure categories make it harder for me to find a book. This prompt was very easy as I have so many series on my TBR shelf, I just chose one at random.

Veronica (ronireads13) | 816 comments What are you reading this week?
The Twentieth Day of January by Ted Allbeury
- Which challenge did you pick? What is the category?
2016 Book Riot Read Harder Challenge, a book about politics fiction or non-fiction
- Why did you choose this category?
I really wanted to read this book and looked for a category that it would fit under.

Stacey D. | 1908 comments What are you reading this week? In Watermelon Sugar by Richard Brautigan

Which challenge did you pick? What is the category?
The 2016 Popsugar Challenge: A book that's under 150 pages

Why did you choose this category? The length, because I've picked a lot of long-ass books for this year's challenge. And reading about watermelon in the midst of summer is particularly refreshing. Plus, I've had this quirky little book on my TBR list for a long time.

Mel | 176 comments What are you reading this week?
The Sisters Chase by Sarah Healy

What challenge did you pick? What is the category?
Challenge: 2017 Ultimate Popsugar Challenge
Category: A book with a family member term in the title

Why did you choose this category?
I started this challenge late, and knew I wanted to use this category to double up/catch up, so I used a random number generator until I hit a category I hadn't filled yet for the Popsugar challenge, which wound up being this one. Plus, it worked out well because this was one of my BOTM choices last month, and I've been meaning to get through it, so it was good timing. :)

Maria (malianikeki) | 92 comments - What are you reading this week? Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë

Bec | 1334 comments What are you reading this week?
The Next Always

Which challenge did you pick? What is the category?
2017 popsugar - audiobook

Why did you choose this category?
I had lots of different books picked out for this one (cause let's face it - there are heaps of options for other challenges) and then realised I could save time by listening to an audiobook whilst walking, and reading whilst on the train. I was already listening to this audiobook so decided to slot it in.

I chose the PopSugar 2015 Ultimate Challenge. The category is: a graphic novel.

I chose it mostly because I needed a break from some heavier fare and had some manga sitting around. This prompt worked for the manga, so...

Tracy (tracyisreading) | 2573 comments - What are you reading this week?Charlotte's Web by E.B. White
- Which challenge did you pick? What is the category?A category from another challenge ( Rory Gilmore Mini Winter Challenge: read a book from the show thats been on your TBR list the longest)
- Why did you choose this category? For a minute there I got into the whole Rory Gilmore thing, then I tried watching the show and decided I'd rather read, then I looked at her book list and decided most of it was pretty crappy.
