So it appears that a childrens edition of the firm was separated from the main book which would be okay. However, the childrens edition of 72 pages was over 400,000 ratings and the adult one only has 11,000. I feel like somehow this was messed up but not sure how to fix.

So while I am not convinced they are true adaptions , I don't know enough to recombine, and if they are only 72 pages then...ok

That said, someone had changed the author name on the first book in the list to John Grisham, rather than the adaptor. The primary name on all editions must be the same in order to combine books. IF the primary author is different then it messes up the ratings and stats.

Changed author name back to the adaptor, this should sort out the ratings but it may take a while
