This is a year long challenge for 2017. You can use either the female lead character's first or last name for each letter of the alphabet. For letters X and Z, as long as the letter is in the character's name somewhere, it can be used. We discovered last year that U is particularly tricky to find. So, if you haven't found your U lady by November, you may * the letter and use any name where an U is in the first name. At least 50% of your selections should be Harlequin heroines.

I hope there's going to be a similar challenge for 2018!! I didn't join in the 2017 one, and missed doing it as I've done in years before...

Oh, I wish I'd known about this challenge... Then I could have told readers looking for an X-named heroine to read that my first Classic Presents heroine in Vows They Can't Escape - out in Feb 2017 - was called XANTHE!!!

Ugh Heidi! I really have to start paying attention to names of characters early in the year instead of sticking to my reading comfort-zone and only searching for missing letters late in the year. I set up these giveaways with the hope it will encourage me and others to try new authors, new genres. I've found some wonderful books this way. :)
