Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all are getting a good start on your reading challenges this year. I know I'm glad I lowered my goal number from last year because I'm already finding I have less time to read this year.

This month I read...

Hollow City and Library of Souls by Ransom Riggs- I decided to put these two on the list together. I flew through Hollow City so quick and loved it! I didn't plan on going right to Library of Souls, but after the ending of Hollow City I had to get my hands on it ASAP. I liked Library of Souls as well, but it's pace started a little slower which made it a little harder to get through. The ending was also a little to perfectly wrapped up to be realistic, but I still enjoyed it! I like cheesy endings, haha.

The Winter People by Jennifer McMahon- Overall, This book kept me interested and reading. I did find myself pretty generally creeped out at points too. I was unsatisfied with the ending though. It was to abrupt and left so many things unresolved.
