It happens a lot with Haruki Murakami's books.

for example, these:
V1 /work/editio...
V2 /work/editio...

but in fact they are just different version for the listing below:
/book/show/4...

It maybe be more precise and less confusing to figured out a way to link these different versions.

They cannot be combined, because neither of the parts has the same content as each other -- or as the single-volume work.

What could be done is for a series to be added linking the part 1 and part 2. It would not include the single-volume work as part of the series, but a link could be added as part of the series description.
