Rosalie King | 10 comments I received a great review from this pool; however the writer included a number of spoilers only warning about one of them - in the middle of the sentence - just before she wrote the words. I know spoiler reviews are a good thing to have - only if there is a SPOILER ALERT warning at the very top of the review. Those who are considering reading my book, but who read this review first, will have my various plot twists ruined. I'd really rather not have the review at all. What does everyone else think about this?

Angelina Kerner | 163 comments You got two options

1. contact the reviewer and ask for SPOILER ALERT to be added at the top of the review. It's okay to do so, especially if you can contact him/her. If they created a warning for one spoiler and not the other spoilers then maybe they didn't think they were spoiling your twists. So ask them about those.

2. Ignore it. Thanks to this group, we can ask each other to make small adjustments but in reality if it would be a reviewer not from this group and who chose to read the book for other reasons- we wouldn't be able to contact them. So you have a choice to accept it.

Since it came from this group, I did ask her to put SPOILER ALERT at the very top and she said she would change it, but that was over a week ago. Totally agree with your 2nd point!

in that case, send a reminder message and if that doesn't work give up or go to a moderator. ^_^
