I am interested in reading this series, but then I've read that the girls act more and more immature in the later books, and it gets bad. Someone even speculated that Harrison originally intended to end The Clique by the fourth book.
So, are the first four books the only ones worth reading, and the rest worth skipping? When did you think the series started going downhill?

Wow well those two comments weren't helpful... I think it's a guilty pleasure and after a while you just get tired of reading the books because well it's stupid... But at the same time you like the characters and the smart yet stupid and funny stuff they say but at the same time there are so mean that you want them to fail but they never seem to, and it just starts to piss you off. It's like rewarding someone for doing bad it just gets too annoying but, everyone has there own patience so it depends.

First, it's absolutely ridiculous that they would be only 7th graders in middle school; Harrison should have made them in High School but kept everything the same.

So if you get passed that, maybe stopping around 'P.S. I Loathe You' (I think the tenth) would be good, because then it gets all (for me personally), unfamiliar. 1-10 hold some funny memories for me, but after that it goes down hill (for me).

My favorite was probably 'The Pretty Committee Strikes Back' (#5) or 'Dial L for Loser' (#6)

NO WHERE!!! THIS SERIES IS LIKE, awesome!!! Sorry, I just love this series. I might have had too much coffee. But I LUV it!! Ahhhhh! Ok calm down...
