I'm not sure what you'd consider to be "too dark" or "too light" or what you've already read, BUT you could try any of these:

Deviant (Blood and Roses series) by Callie Hart - Zeth is so hot.
Debt by Nina G. Jones-trigger warnings with this one so beware
Offside by Shay Savage
Better When He's Bad by Jay Crownover- this one was a slow read, but I enjoyed it.

And if you want to go REALLY dark..... "Dark Duet" by CJ Roberts. HUGE trigger warnings but its extremely well written IMO. I can't think of anyone more tortured than Caleb.

Welcome! I should also now add what I am currently reading to this list as it is VERY similar to Vicious- "Bad Boy Blues" by Saffron Kent. I still think Vicious is BETTER, but it's pretty good!

Nice, I was also thinking about this interesting looking book and consider that it should be quite similar to Vicious.
I am currently reading to Ruckus by L.J.Shen and it is like continuing of Vicious book. By the way, it is a very strange feeling like reading the same book again.

Hi! I would totally recommend:
- the bad boys girl (this one has 2 books and i personally loved it, its not too dark like vicious though).
- The royals (this one is a bit long since it has 5 books but personally i loved it and didnt even feel it was too long, it has some dark and twisty thing come up through it)

I loved Deviant King by Rina Kent - The whole Royal Elite series is brilliant - 1. Deviant King, 2. Steel Princess 3. Twisted Kingdom
