Hi everyone!
I recently received a question off the boards which I think is relevant enough to answer here where others can see it.
Question: "I am planning on reading an omnibus which contains 3 novellas. Each novella has a title and different author. Sometimes I read just one novella and leave the remainder of the novellas for another time. Could I count one of the novellas as one book for either of the challenges?"
Answer: Absolutely!
Here's the thing about ŷ. If you read a boxed set or anthology that contains multiple complete novels or novellas, GR only counts that as one item, not the actual number of books read. If I am reading a boxed set, I NEVER indicate it as the boxed set on GR. NEVER! I enter each book/novella within the set separately in order to receive full credit for what I have read, and hope each of you does as well. This is especially important for anyone participating in the ŷ Reading Challenge. Make sure you receive full credit for what you read!
