message 222: by Nicole (new)

Nicole | 77 comments Yey ... finished! Only three reads, but that's pretty good for me.
My reads were

1. Miss Poppy (Miss Poppy is James year 2 teacher)
My choice: Good-Bye, Mr. Chips by James Hilton - a classic where there is a teacher as a character ★★★★
Not a big read (128pgs) but my favourite for the month. Had it not been for the challenge, it may have gone unread by me.

2. Coffee Task
My choice: Last Chance Cafe by Liz Byrski - the word coffee was mentioned numerous times .. the first time was ... "Marot longs to abandon the search, get a coffee or just go home, but she has to find something because the party is tomorrow and she can't get into her only decent dress" first page, Chapter 1.
★★★★

3. Knickers (James being naughty!)
My choice: The Right Time by Danielle Steel MC: Alexandra Winslow. ★★★★

Congratulations everyone on completing your challenges. Looking forward to November's challenge to start ... clean up some of those books that I have been meaning to read, but something else always pops up before it.
