The question is in regards to Big Book tickets. For the Winter season , I will be reading The Fiery Cross which has 1443 pages. I know that BB tickets are >500 = 1 ticket, >750 = 2 tickets & >1000 = 3 tickets. I am wondering if this keeps going the bigger the book gets i.e. >1250 = 4 tickets or if 3 tickets is the maximum you can get for each book.
Thanks in advance!

Does this then follow the FAQ rules that the series is actually the "title" and the title is the "subtitle"?

I have this book, Let Darkness Bury the Dead by Maureen Jennings in my hot little hand and it has 330 pages in it, but the GoodReads info does not list the number of pages. Could some kind librarian help me out and add this information?
Thanks,
Andy

Worldcat agrees. Done.

We understand that graphic novels often have the series title before the colon. We use the GR book record title as it appears for all books. The words that appear before the colon are the title and the words that appear after the colon are the subtitle.

I'm planning to re-read Lord of the Rings, but given its a long book, I'm hoping to fit it into one of the higher point tasks. Various of those have listopias, but when I check them, they often specifically include the first part, i.e. The Fellowship of the Ring, but not the whole book (for example, at least two of the 50.1 options have this problem). So I had a couple of questions.
1. Could I read and claim the whole book to satisfy a task which only has the first part on the list (big book tickets and all)?
or
2. Could it be used as an omnibus, with the three parts claimed separately (although sadly without the big book ticket in that case). And if so, could different parts be used in the same task: for example, 30.5 option 3, as Fellowship of the Ring and Return of the King would fit the "change one letter to get a new word" criteria.

When the task calls for a book on the listopia, that's what is required for the task, not a variation on the book listed.
You can use the individual books from Lord of the Rings, since those have all been published separately. And it doesn't matter whether you're using them for different tasks or different parts of the same task.

Thanks for the clarification - I'm so used to thinking of it as one book, rather than three.
