Thinking back to the first time Auggie is introduced to the school and his classmates, I realized how meaningful that first event was. Auggie is introduced to his very first public school, and is learning the ups and downs around it. He meets his future best friend, and the main antagonist of the story. Jack, who was only there because of his mom convincing him, did not show much interest in Auggie. However, he soon came to realize how much of a great person Auggie is, and his rich personality. Julian on the other hand, was too busy about his reputation to even touch him. He just said hi so the teachers would not be mad. This moment in the story helped shape the rest of the plot and presented us with very important characters.
