Just starting Love is Blind by William Boyd my all time favourite author. Already savouring every word, I have a good feeling about this one.

Just thinking about it makes me feel all dreamy. Which translations did you read and what was your favourite?

Also I have read Russi..."</i>

I have never read War and Peace, although I do have a copy of the Barnes and Noble Classics paperback. I've read a great deal of nonfiction among the 50 books I've finished in 2018, including one of the best biographies I've ever come across, [book:Sam Phillips: The Man Who Invented Rock 'n' Roll
by Peter Guralnick. I'm currently reading The Way We Live Now by the very windy Anthony Trollope (1815-82). I started it July 7, 2018, took a long break from it, and have resumed it in the last few days. Other books I have on tap are 33 Men by Jonathan Franklin; Bowdrie's Law: Stories by Louis L'Amour (1908-88); Coming Up Roses: The Broadway Musical in the 1950s by Ethan Mordden; and Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass, An American Slave: Written by Himself by Frederick Douglass (1818-95).
