Joni | 626 comments Not sure if this is the right place to post this question but is there a way to post or add a photo to a post? If so, can someone please tell me how to do so? Thank you.

Nicole R (drnicoler) | 8079 comments There is. And, unfortunately, I cannot guide you on how to do it because whenever I try, my pics end up distorted.

But, I am interested in seeing what the answer is!

Anita Pomerantz | 9121 comments I have not actually done this so am not the greatest help, but I found these instructions on Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ:

If you're trying to add an image that isn't a book cover, you will have to use HTML. The image has to be sourced online, so you will need a URL to the picture you want to add. If the picture is on your computer, and not hosted online, I recommend creating a Photobucket account (where they will provide you with URLs to each photo you upload). As soon as you have this URL, insert it between the quotation marks here:

img src=""

then add a bracket to each end (< and >) and paste that into the text field.

Anita Pomerantz | 9121 comments I tried it - - seems to work! This photo is from my trip and resides on my Facebook page.

If the image is online, you can use the code in the link "some html is ok" for images, following the guidelines. The only difficulty I see there is that you have to know the proportions of the height/width of your image or it will come out distorted.

I don't see where you can post an image from your hard drive, anyone know if that can be done?

This post should probably be transferred to Tips and Tricks.

annapi | 5488 comments With this photo from my FB page I used the code I found in "some html is ok" and played with the height/width measurements until I got it right - this one is 200 x 200
Stanley Cup
But it's probably easier to use Anita's instructions!

If the image..."

When I tried to use the code from the "some html is ok", I got distortion. When I followed the directions I copied from Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ Help (see my first post), I was able to post a photo from my Facebook page with no issues about size or distortion . . .

Anita Pomerantz | 9121 comments There must be some size limitations because I'm able to post some photos but not others . . .?

Joni | 626 comments Thank you....I will play around with it.

Amy | 12621 comments I know it’s a relevant but Joni, did you used to be a coin? It’s really small on my phone, but I think you’re now some kind of an antique lion maybe? I find I go through some readjustment when the avatars change. It takes me a while to reconnect.

Amy, my avatar used to be a coin. I updated to my family's newest addition....Karee, our yellow lab puppy.

Amy | 12621 comments Karee looks beautiful! If I were ever capable of actually posting a photo on a thread, I would post my beloved, I mean our beloved dog Dandy. Who is gorgeous and beautiful and sweet but is a totally bad Barker. I often joke that she fits in perfectly with our family. Our kids Are energetic, loving, warm, adorable, charming, intelligent, generally well behaved, fun loving, family oriented, but they’re loud and they don’t listen to a word I say. So she’s just like the rest of us.

Karin | 8995 comments I used to post photos, but can't now that search engines are preventing using ones you can find online. I don't have any online photo place I use.
