Okie dokie I'm not quite sure what I'm doing but yay first group read! I guess we could read one chapter each week maybe? and then discuss what we thought and whatnot

hmm, I think we can wait a day or two in case anyone else wants to join, but I'm not sure when we should start, I'm ok with any day, maybe on thursday?

Thursday works just fine for me. So we'll start this Thursday? and then every Thursday after that we will start the new chapter and all talk and share about the chapter we just finished?

I guess so, unless anyone else has any suggestions?

So first impressions after chapter one.
I've seen the movie of course but never read the book so I was nervous. But I'm liking it so far. I love how completely and totally done Sophie is with her world. Talking to the hats and all.
It was hard to not start the next chapter lol I may end up giving in.

Just finished chapter 1 and I don't want to wait either haha!

I saw the movie like four years ago, and really enjoyed it. I'm surprised at how short the first chapter was. it was a good setup though, and I look forward to reading more of the book!

same I got the dvd a few years ago I love the animation!

I never watched the movie but the book is very interesting so am gonna wait until i finish the book.

BTW I just wanna say, I miiiiiiiight be late a couple times with the reading, I've been busy finishing up high school currently and because the whole school district was on strike for two weeks everything's a bit of a mess lol, plus that and we're reading the handmaids tale for part of our English final. So sorry if I don't reply much, I'm just shy and super busy with school lmao

For me, this book is way too easy to read! (As in, I can sit down and just breeze right through each chapter.)

We started April 12th. So the 19th we should have started 2. The 26th we should have started 3. This Thursday, the 2nd, we should have started 4. Right?

Hey, y'all! I checked and today (May 31st) we started chapter 8.
I'm loving the book so much and I'm enjoying the character development. And just in general I love the whimsical feeling of the book
