Hey, book friends!
So, for Friday, and this weekend, my reading plans are to read, and hopefully finish, All the Little Lights by Jamie McGuire. If I finish that, then I will start re-reading Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. If I somehow manage to finish both of those books, then I will probably pick up The Immortalists by Chloe Benjamin.

What do you plan on reading this weekend?

My weekend reads.

Authority by Jeff VanderMeer
and
Two in the Field by Darryl Brock

I hope to finish both of them, but I am a slow reader. So I will just see how it goes.

Awesome! I need to read it soon. I heard that if you haven't read the Bill Hodges' Trilogy that it contains spoilers but I don't know.

message 13: by Debra Diggs (new)

Debra Diggs | 2355 comments I did not know that The Outsider was connected to the Bill Hodges' Trilogy. Well, that puts a little different light on the story. Anyway, I have read the Trilogy. So, it is all good.

I still need to read Rosemary's Baby by Ira Levin. How are you liking it?

message 24: by Debra Diggs (new)

Debra Diggs | 2355 comments So far, I love it. On page 100 out of 319. The author does a lot of forshadowing, so you know something is going to go terribly wrong.

I read The Stepford Wives and loved it (5 stars). And look forward to reading The Boys from Brazil.

message 25: by Callie (new)

Callie (roguefoxpaws) | 3 comments I’m currently working on The Colorado Kid that I picked up from the library yesterday! I’m only on Chapter 5 I believe, but I’m excited to keep reading it this weekend! I’ve also got Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare in progress, but I’m currently taking a break from it. I’m not really sure if I like how it flows right now. Will come back to it.

message 26: by Debra Diggs (new)

Debra Diggs | 2355 comments Hey Callie. I have read some of Stephen King's books but never The Colorado Kid. I loved The Stand and enjoyed his latest book, The Outsider.
