Nic Tackels- summer reading review

"Winger" by Andrew Smith is a very relatable book for teenage boys. Ryan Dean West is a high school student at a boarding school in Oregon. Ryan is an average teenage boy; he plays rugby for his school despite being 2 years young for his grade. The book is a story about Ryan Dean's life during his junior year of high school. I really related to this book because I've dealt with many of the same problems he goes through in the story. The author does a very good job at keeping the story interesting and funny. "Winger" is a very humorous book and I highly recommend it to a high school student looking for an enjoyable book to read.
