Hello everyone! It’s time for another monthly reading wrap up. I ended up having a spookier theme without realizing it too!
This month I read.
The Silkworm by Robert Galbraith- I enjoyed the first Cormoran Strike mystery a lot, but this one wasn’t as good to me. The beginning was slow and seemed to drag on for forever. The last third of the book though was much better and the ending almost made up for the slow beginning
Rubbernecker by Belinda Bauer- This was another murder mystery and the Last Chapter Book Club book of the month. This was an interesting premise with a “sympathy murder and a medical student with Aspergers, but it fell flat for me.
To All the Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han- I am a sucker for cheesy YA romances, as you all know by now. I also needed a break after reading two murder mysteries in a row, haha. The characterization in the book wasn’t the best. I didn’t feel particularly attached to any of them, but the story line was just cute and cheesy enough to make up for it and keep me invested.
