Thought I'd throw out a list of books that I'm looking to read in January. I haven't double checked on where I would put them with our categories, but just browsing them I'm sure I could fit any of them somewhere on the list! If anyone wants to BR let me know!

And here is my prospective TBR for January. I have buddy reads planned for everything except the Golden Guard series and Analiese Rising (which is an ARC) so let me know if you'd like to read those with me. Most of these are rereads for me so I can be ready for new books in January and February! =D

Here's my tentative TBR for January. It can (and probably will) change at any moment:

Song of Susannah and City of Bones are part of a series BR, let me know if you're interested in reading the others :)

Do you guys want to try for the 100 bonus points even if we're only medium? That'd require a lot of planning to avoid double categories.

Or we could try focusing on the few categories for which we're more confident for our guesses.

I think if you copy it you can change the privacy settings to whatever you want. Mine is editable right now. So I think it's as not private as possible.

So if you like it you can just copy it. There's a specific way to do it that I need to figure out.

So I’ve been slightly dead the past few weeks. Some of it self inflicted (New Years and a girlfriends birthday celebration) but now I have this fun nasty chest cold that is going around. I’m off work today - so sleep and reads. Just wanted to check in and let you all know I’m alive...but barely 😂😂

I've been half dead with the flu these past few days. I'll write my reviews as soon as I'm back to the land of the living.

:O I love winter, snow, hot chocolate, snuggling with puppies, snow, wine, snow, oh - and snow!

While I don't get any snow here, it is the only time it ever rains in SoCal, so I love it. Instead of the hills looking all brown and crusty, they are so green in contrast, that I can almost imagine that I am in Ireland instead.

Oh, and I love being able to wear boots!

Hello team. I am sorry to have been MIA for the majority of the month. I came down with a bad case of the flu and was sick for the first two weeks in January. I missed work too. It was rather awful. I have read some books this month, but only one of them fit the currently open categories. I will list the others here in case someone sees a spot that they will fit into.

You might have to use it for a category that has already been posted. Unless another book can be moved from a used category to something that is left. I can take a quick look to see what your team has already posted.

The cover would have to have more than one book on it :( Is there anything else about the book or author that could work?

So it looks like the series for Air Awakens is finished. So, if you want you can move Giulia's book City of Bones from 43. Read a book from a series that is completed TO 37. Read a book set anywhere in New York.

Then you could add your book to #43.

As for cruel prince and the wicked king, I would suggest reusing #40 - Read a book that is MPG Fantasy. Don't forget that there's a BR for cruel prince and wicked king is BOTM. so you'll team will get lots of points for that.

Maybe we can use it for 3. Read a book with a tv or book on the cover. The book there is singular.

But I'd move Cristina's To Kill a Mockingbird to 33. Read a book from the The Least Liked Books List and move City of Bones to 1. Read a book where the MC loves to read.

I agree with Giulia:

Move To Kill a Mockingbird to 33. Least Liked books
Move City of Bones to 1. MC loves to read
Put Air Awakens at 3. Book or TV on cover

Also, remember, we can repeat categories. So if you read something that doesn't fit in our remaining categories, just put it in the spreadsheet under the Game 2 tab. Try to pick the hardest category if you can.

I've got books coming up with alcohol on the cover and possibly coffee/tea on cover.

Does anyone like David Baldacci's books? He is a Virginian.

If you already finished your book with coffee or tea on the cover, go ahead and post it. I was about to start mine today but might be able to fit it in elsewhere later.

I've also picked up a couple of quick reads that are set in Virginia, and a longer one that is by a Virginian author. I'll try to read them over the weekend while on a trip.
