Welcome to the Bangalore e-Library. We're a group of people looking to start a Community e-Library for Bangalore readers.

Here is the list of books we currently have: /group/books...

As we don't have a community space, we are relying on Dunzo for now.

How to Borrow a Book

To borrow, find the name of the person who added it to the "available" shelf on Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ, and drop them a message. They'll let you know what to do next.

I have books that I'd like to add
If you're okay with the logistics of other readers dropping by to pick up books, here's what you do:

1. Make sure you have a goodreads account and are logged in
2. Join the Group: /group/show/...
3. Add the books you're willing to lend to the "available" bookshelf.

This is so cool
Yes, we think so too!

If you have any more questions, create a new topic on the goodreads forum!

The Fine Print

This experiment is based on a honor system for now. Please take good care of our books :)

Locations
If Dunzo serves your area, you're good. Otherwise, you may have to schedule a pickup.

Ashok Vishnoi (ashokvishnoi1994) | 1 comments One thing, If a book is already added by someone, another person cannot add the same book.
Any way to keep that record?

Not right now. You can add a slightly different edition of the book in some cases as a fallback for now.

Just one query. If the book i receive is damaged already, any SoPs for what is to be done? Click a photo, perhaps?

You can ask insist Dunzo to take a photo per-delivery. That should work for most cases.

Harish | 1 comments Hey!
Very cool idea, I'd love to be part of this.
Do you guys support ebooks though? I like to read on my kindle, and all of my recent additions have been ebooks. Would be great if that was an option.

Nothing for e-books. Hard to do right without DRM and I’d not go there yet.
