Who's cramming the last pages in? Reading will end in a day and a half!

How many pages can we get read in our last bit of time together?

My goal: finish three more books

My progress: two at 50%, one at 0%

My goal: finish one more book! Which I know seems teensy, but I don't think I can do any more ... and that will get me at my goal!

My progress: I have a couple books barely-begun! Have to pick one to concentrate on, I guess!

Hm...pick your favorite?

message 5: by Faith (new)

Faith (faithpotts) | 23 comments *waves hand wildly* I need 6 more books to meet my goal... O.o Not sure if that will happen, but I do have several shorterish reads picked out, so we'll see. :D

message 6: by Paige (new)

Paige (victoriaegiap) | 39 comments I need two more books! and i’m nearly done 4, so yayyyyy!

message 7: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) Hoping for two more books, maybe three. Only three more discs on a general market book, about 60% left in a WWII story, and only a few chapters into a 200+ pager.

Jane | 20 comments Go! Go! Go!!!
Read! Read! Read!!!!
You can do it!!!!

(Btw, I love Faith's new word --- "shorterish". 😊)

message 9: by E.F. (new)

E.F. Buckles | 60 comments I can finish "Tuesdays at the Castle" today, but "Unfinished Tales" still has 212 pages left, so... yeah, not finishing that in two days. :P

message 10: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) So... Unfinished Tales will remain... unfinished?

Baymax! I like that guy.

message 11: by Ellen (new)

Ellen Hamilton | 56 comments Go Girls!! You'll make it, just keep reading, just keep reading...

Me!

My goal: two more books. I’d love to finish three, but that’s a bit unrealistic.

My progress:
Managers of Their Homes, 62%
Fervent, by Priscilla Shirer, 57%
The Story of Jesus, 8%

Unfinished this month, anyway. XD

Baymax. He represents my reading speed, or lack thereof, so well. ;)

Haha, thanks! Definition: not really a novel, but still meeting the 150+ page requirement. xD xD

Faith (faithpotts) | 23 comments Update: One book down. Can I sleep for a few hours and then read 4-5 books tomorrow? Doubtful.

message 17: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) Finished a general market book tonight.

✔️ Echoes of Mercy by Kim Vogel Sawyer about 170 pages
✔️ Forever and a Day by Emilie Loring 245 pages

message 19: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Stevens (amandagstevens) | 21 comments I didn't set an official goal here, but thanks to this group I finished 10 books this month (for me that's straight up amazing!) and I'm trying to finish the 11th The Pursuit of Tamsen Littlejohn by Lori Benton

Currently on page 156/387, and I'm a slow reader, so this might not happen, but even if it doesn't, I'm really happy with my progress this month. Yay for all of us and yay books! :-)

About 200 pages in both my two different “in progress books read and finished for me! Yay!

message 21: by Faith (new)

Faith (faithpotts) | 23 comments Finished another book this morning (224 pages), and hoping to finish another (210 pages) by tonight.

Whew—always glad to hear of extra reading, Amanda!

Wow, everyone’s doing so well today!

✔️ You're the One that I Want (Christiansen Family, #6) by Susan May Warren 360 pages

message 23: by E.F. (new)

E.F. Buckles | 60 comments I finished Tuesdays at the Castle, which makes for 3 books this month. As there are only a few hours left in the month I think that's the last one for me. :)

message 24: by Jane (new)

Jane | 20 comments I signed up for 5 books and so far I've read 9 & 3/4. Most of them were Christmas fiction and most were secular "clean-ish" traditional Regency stories (not sure why I was, solely, in that kind of mood??). I haven't had a chance, or been in the mood, to write reviews and since I'm not going to enter the giveaway, I think I'll spend tonight reading that last 1/4 of a book.

It's been a blast watching everyone's reading progress and finding some new books to add to my list. I've enjoyed it and hope to continue with more fun reading this year!!!

message 25: by Paige (new)

Paige (victoriaegiap) | 39 comments just finished my 13th book !! off to finish my 14th before midnight...👀

Beth, don’t forget to go announce a goal, since you’ve gone over the minimum 1000 pages to enter.

Jane, hooray! So glad you’ve gotten enough books read to get an entry! If you’re still interested in entering the giveaway, you don’t need to leave a review—just a date read and a shelving.

Victoria...go go go!!!

✔️ Old-Dad by Eleanor Hallowell Abbott 241 pages

message 28: by Andrea (new)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) Finished both of my in-progress books I had hoped to. Like I suspected, I did not get to the third one. Totally ran out of time! But I surpassed my goal of 1,500 pages by reaching 3,037 for the month! So proud of myself there. I can't believe I fit in four 400+ page books... and several other regular-sized novels. Whew!

Oh, okay! I didn't even realize I'd hit 1k. Thanks for keeping closer track of it than I was! XD

Thanks! I'm shocked, really. With copy editing jobs, I had no clue I could accomplish such a number of pleasure-reading pages.
