Peter Martuneac | 38 comments I'm currently reading through SPQR: A History of Ancient Rome, not sure yet what I'll read after that. Maybe something light after such a heavy history.

message 36: by Calidor (new)

Calidor | 208 comments Ive just embarked on Under the Dome by Stephen King. Its great so far and at 877 pages should keep me going for a while. Just hope its worth the time investment, as after reading the last page of the Dark Tower books made me wish i hadnt stuck it out through 7 mostly very thick volumes!

Thanks for sharing that Calidor. As a rule, I only embark on epics after reading reviews.😁

The famous author was 17 when she wrote "Aunt Nellie's Diary" in 1849. The manuscript was found in a journal one of a few that she did not destroy.
