Marcus Naef (marcusnaef) | 1 comments Hi everybody! I'm Marcus T. Naef. I recently became more active on Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ, and I thought this group would be a great fit. I am a courier, author and screenwriter.

I'm a self-proclaimed loner, but thought a cybergroup of readers would be an excellent place for me to come out of my shell. I hope I'll find some people here who want to know more about me and my book (I Hate You!).

message 303: by Robin (new)

Robin (robingregory) Greetings, Marcus! Who is your favorite screenwriter?

message 304: by Isabel (new)

Isabel Mar | 1 comments HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!
My name is Isabel Mar and I just joined the group today.

Nice to meet everyone!

My latest book is called "The Purejoojoo Guide For You."

The book teaches you how to heal your thoughts about you to return to who you are. Not who you think you should be.

Because you are not a thought. You simply are.

And you are enough just the way you are.

Return to who you are.

The only you there is.

The only you there will ever be.

I look forward to being part of this group and wish you all a wonderful rest of your day!

Isabel.

Agnes Trifontaine (authortrifontaine) | 6 comments Hello, Love and Social Change fellow humans,
I am glad to be among you.
I started my writing career as ten-year-old in Germany and published the first two of my six children's books at the age of twenty-four.
When a variety of circumstances brought me to the US, I had to transform myself into an American writer. It was not easy, but challenging and ultimately rewarding.
I have a children's mystery series available on Amazon and othe outlets.
My main concern at this point is my novel "Rolanda's Journal."
I need to find the right kind of audience for this book. It is a fictional account of a painter's journey to self-discovery. It is not easy for her because she was born with a silver spoon etc. She represents a personification of the American Dream. She can buy anything she wants; all doors are open to her.
Painting is very important to her. Yet, she spends her time with doing business and other past-times, hoping to find fulfillment in torrid love affairs. She becomes obsessed with a Ruben's painting and The Face of God which she compulsively tries to copy, over and over.
When grief and sorrow enter this perfect life, a painful transformation begins and brings the realization that The Face of God can not belong to her. It can not be captured on canvass because it is part of the eternal mystery.
When she accepts that she is vulnerable and immature, her creativity kicks in and she begins to be the painter she has yearned to be.
Check Amazon for all of my work.

Terri Lyon | 1 comments Hi all, I'm Terri Lyon. I appreciate this group for its focus on love and making change in the world.

My contribution is What's on Your Sign?: How to focus your passion and change the world. People who are new to activism can use the book to focus on the cause closest to their heart. People who are already involved in a cause but wonder if they are making a difference can use the book to up their impact.

I also published a workbook with exercises, quizzes, and reflections. The What's on Your Sign? Workbook: How to Focus Your Passion and Change the World.

I'm very much looking forward to hearing how everyone is making a difference in the world. Terri

Laura | 2 comments Robin wrote: "Hi Monostori! Welcome! My sister studied Art Therapy and Psychology. She became a Social Worker. It is challenging work, but of course the world needs you! Are you a writer as well?"

Hi Robin, oh your sister studied the same? :) That is nice! yeah it's challenging indeed, I can't argue with this. I hope so it will worth it. I am still positive. :)

You asked me about am I a writer? No, I am not, but when I was younger I really wanted to be a writer! So clear in my memory when my friends and me were sitting in the schoolyard and we tried to figure out stories and tales. :)

I was studying painting, but I like writing as well, which i can use in my works or over my therapies, or just for the fun. All the time my big problem was to get to the "end".

Are you a writer, right? How long have you been writing?

message 322: by Robin (new)

Robin (robingregory) Lovely to meet you, Laura! I studied painting first, then fell in love with writing second. It's a funny story. It started with my stalking Marc Chagall in France! I published my first novel in 2015, Book 1 of "The Improbable Wonders of Moojie Littleman." It took me 13 years to get right. Ha! Now I'm writing Book 2 of the trilogy. I worked with a producer-mentor to write the screen adaptation for Book 1. It's in development for a feature length film. Hard work, but I love it!

Welcome! Lovely to meet you. The group founder has been absent for quite a while, so there is no one spearheading activities. Every now and then, an interesting conversation strikes up, or someone posts info on their new book or a blog post. Discussions tend to cover religion, spirituality, society, and philosophy. Joyce Addo-Atuah (goodreadscomuser_joyceaddo-atuah) | 2 comments Hi everyone,

My name is Joyce Addo-Atuah and I'm delighted to find this group promoting diversity, inclusion, respect, with love as the medium and foundation towards making the world a better place. This type of community is certainly needed and I'm thankful to have found you.

I'm a first-time author who self-published my book on Amazon last November. It is called "The Power of Thanksgiving: A Blueprint for Contentment, Fulfillment, and Well-Being through Gratitude." It is a self-help book in which I have discussed the benefits of a lifestyle of thanksgiving and gratitude which includes good health, a positive outlook on life, higher productivity, love and readiness to do good for others and the community at large, and long life.

I combine personal and family life experiences , quotes from influential people, bible passages, inspirational hymns, supported by scientific evidence of these benefits.

The book is available as an Ebook, paperback, and audiobook. It has won the National Indie Excellence Awards (African-American Non-Fiction) and has been named the Finalist by the Book Excellence Awards (Multicultural Non-Fiction) as well as the Finalist by the International Book Awards (Christian Inspirational).

I would humbly propose that we adopt this book for reading and discussion by the group.
