ladymurmur | 541 comments So looking forward to participating in this challenge again for 2020!

While some enjoy reading challenges to help them in reading more, I enjoy reading challenges to help me decide what to read next. I'm always going to be reading something, but choosing from all the available options is often my challenge.

Thoughts on the challenge, in no particular order so I can post this before my battery dies... :-)
Planning is scads of fun, but half the time I'll end up reading something completely random, and discover that it fills a slot. Best laid plans of mice and all that! Reading books that I already own is a definite plus - but there will always be new books to buy, and the library has always been my happy place. I won't be reading in order - too much of a mood reader, even if it means something goes back in the lengthy reserve queue because I'm not in the mood for it _now_. This challenge will likely end up being a third to a quarter of my total titles for the year, but if 2019 is any indication, it will add as many if not more additional titles to my TBR. Reading is my joy, so I will not force myself to read a book that isn't bringing me some kind of pleasure. I've just discovered the KIS/BIO threads, and I'm intrigued to see how that might shape certain prompts for me.

I'll probably start PLANNING ALL THE PROMPTZ!! pretty soon, because I'm already thinking about them - though chances are some of the titles I find in that planning I won't be able to resist reading before the end of 2019. Oh drat - right?

Onwards to AtWi52B 2020!! :-)

ladymurmur | 541 comments And becuase it came up in conversation at work earlier today - I am a re-reader, and will quite happily reread to fill a prompt if I can't find a new title that interests me. It is actually easier for me sometimes to find a new title if I know that I can fall back on a reread if necessary.

I'll probably start my plannning with identifying potential rereads for various prompts, and then start hunting for new titles.
