Book Synopsis:
At a school where Quantum Paradox 101 is a required course and history field trips are literal, sixteen year-old time traveler Bree Bennis excels…at screwing up.

After Bree botches a solo midterm to the 21st century by accidentally taking a boy hostage (a teensy snafu), she stands to lose her scholarship. But when Bree sneaks back to talk the kid into keeping his yap shut, she doesn’t go back far enough. The boy, Finn, now three years older and hot as a solar flare, is convinced he’s in love with Bree, or rather, a future version of her that doesn’t think he’s a complete pain in the arse. To make matters worse, she inadvertently transports him back to the 23rd century with her.

Once home, Bree discovers that a recent rash of accidents at her school are anything but accidental. Someone is attacking time travelers. As Bree and her temporal tagalong uncover seemingly unconnected clues—a broken bracelet, a missing data file, the art heist of the millennium—that lead to the person responsible, she alone has the knowledge to piece the puzzle together. Knowledge only one other person has. Her future self.

But when those closest to her become the next victims, Bree realizes the attacker is willing to do anything to stop her. In the past, present, or future.

I just started this book yesterday, so far im into it, though im not sure it's my absolute favorite so far

I've completed this book, if anyone wants to chat about it! I liked it, sorta..

(view spoiler)[im not a fan of the past and the present selves meeting, there doesn't seem to be a fear of paradoxes. I'm not a fan of the more questions than answers, then when the answers come its like superfast all at once, in one paragraph and it's just like, um, okay..all that for that?? I got confused with the device and timeline changes, and how can it be just reset, without mindscrewing for some people. I don't know, I think ill read the second book but not sure.the ending was interesting but not cliffhanger enough that I'd die if I didt have the book tomorrow (hide spoiler)]

I'm reading the book now Kim. I've gotten up to chapter 21.

(view spoiler)[I'm liking Bree so far. I like that she is more concerned with helping her mother and figuring out what is happening rather than having Finn as a boyfriend. But I do like Finn even if he's mostly concerned with protecting Bree.

I think something is up with the microchips that they have intalled to help with the buzz. It wouldn't surprise me if there was a bigger consipracy around those. Also I have a suspicion that Quigley is not going to turn out to be a bad guy - she seems too easy of a suspect for that so far. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[I agree with the microchips, it seemed weird that Finns dad and family had no clue about the buzz pretty much right after they were puzzled about it, I'd wondered if the microchip was causing the buzz itself

I loved that the romance wasn't front and center too! It made the story more of a story than just another teen romance type book (hide spoiler)]

I finished it yesterday. (view spoiler)[ I figured that Quigley was good and wasn't really surprised that the headmaster was the bad guy. The end seems to set up a sequel since they don't mention how the microchips will be taken out of other people. It seems like Bree just uncovered the conspiracy.

I like the book but didn't love it. I still might read the sequel if there is one, if I have the time when it comes out. I thought the book started out great but the end was kind of slapped together. (hide spoiler)]
