Do you want it moved to another folder, or deleted?
Is it this yours:
/topic/show/...?

None of us have been receiving notifications lately.
You would need to check the Groups thread for the info you seek.
Here's the link:

Rachael,
Thank you for your comment. ŷ has not allowed external links using the a href format for several months now.
It is still possible, however, to post an external link without the a href tagging on either side.
It's ironic that we're not allowed to use external links with a href, while ŷ can externally link advertisements to our viewing experience because they own the site.

Im only trying to read 25 this year far less than my usual but Id love them to all be in the same place.
Thanks

I see that you managed to create a personal challenge thread after asking this question. Am I correct to assume that that solves the problem?

All you past personal challenge threads (2019, 2020, 2021) are in the respective archive folders. You could post links those challenges in your current challenge thread to make it easy to visit them. Just let me know if you need help locating them. :)

There is no minimum for our challenges, unless specifically stated. :)

Okay thanks.

Hi, Nyssa! Yes, that's what we do here. Later in the year, we will briefly have the name of 2022 & 2023 Reading Challenge until after the new year, when the 2022 will be dropped.
Members will have a chance to submit theme ideas and banner/logo artwork, which will be selected via member polls, along with some yearly challenges to bring back. Lots of opportunities to choose the direction of the group each year! Also, this group archives posts rather than deleting them, so your challenge tracking pages remain available.
Hope this helps!

The spreadsheets we use have only been around for 3 years, so there isn't an "official" way of looking into that. I've been a member for 6 years and delved a little bit into the archives and I don't remember or see a longer one.
So I'll go ahead and say YES! I think that is a buddy read record! I will miss posting Discworld threads!

I'll take it! Thanks so much. We might revive it at some future date with another side series of Discworld books that we didn't include.

As a Pratchett-fan I have sneakily peeked in at you two every now and then and I love that you managed to continue this buddyread consistently all the way to the very last book 👏🏻

Yes, T, we do plan to offer Rock the Vote again. We found the voting schedule today, so it should be posted soon. Watch the Monthly Challenges discussion.
The first round of voting begins Nov. 15 and winners will be announced Dec. 8, in case that helps with your planning.

It’s been updated, thanks

Both is possible, but only on the website and not in the app. In the right bottom corner of your comments there should be an edit and delete button. Clicking them will open the comment box or remove your post right away.
Does this help?

Leslie, if you haven't already deleted, you might consider just editing the duplicate post to say {redacted}. The instructions at the top of the challenge generally ask that you not delete posts. You can message the leader to let her know.

EDIT: Also, there is some good challenge instruction info in this thread.

Yes, most of us do. You can set up a personal challenge thread for 2023 here: /topic/show/...
and a members' corner here: /topic/show/...

If the picture is on your computer, and not hosted online, it could help to create a Photobucket account (where they will provide you with a URL for each photo you upload). As soon as you have this URL, insert it between the quotation marks here:

With all the changes regarding external links will this still work for posting images that I don't have saved in my profile?

Sorry for the late reply, I wanted to check with thr others.
Unfortunately, we don't know, and my best advice would be to just give it a try.

There is a new one set up for 2023: /topic/show/... :)

I sent you a message, Bre. Let's see if we can make that image work for you. 😊

We don't have the marathon challenge in January, but we do have two other fun challenges ;) /topic/group...

I kind of figured this might be the case. =D Thanks!

I generally record the date I finished a book, but wondered if there was any group guidance?

We don't really have set rules for this, but generally people use the date that they finish the book. In your example the book would count towards January and 2023 challenges.

Thanks Ilona - that works for me!

That is correct. :) You can just message each other to talk about the book in whatever way works for the both of you.

There is! /topic/show/...

This is really a fairly important error since the book was a Newbery Honor Book for its author. I believe the correct person should get that credit. Is there a way to get this fixed?
(I figured out a way to work around it, but it involved going to a different one of Colum's books and posting from there)

Carol, the database is managed by ŷ Librarians, you can contact them in the ŷ Librarians group.

Here's a link to your personal challenge thread.
I found the link on your profile page, actually.

Melissa the Mods assigned to the yearly you joined will keep track of how many books you read for that specific challenge. The Tally is usually in the second post.
