Hello everyone. I just finished the book and still there is no one discussing anything so I decided to start up another discussion.
What did you think of the ending?

Did you think Mara really died?

Did you think that Noah was dead throughout? And did you think he was dead when Jude killed him?

If you guys have anything else you would like to discuss fill free to add. :)

I enjoyed the ending I am happy it ended on a good note. I was afraid that Noah was going to die when he left the note saying he went for a run though.

When Mara was injected I didn't think she was going to die. If Michelle Hodkin wanted to kill her off she would wait until the last chapter and also I knew Mara was the one who was "writing" the story so she wouldn't be killed off.

I was in complete denial when Noah died. But I must admit when Dr. Kells said that he had died I kinda believed her. I didn't want to though. Why would I trust a lying bitch. But as Mara continued her journey I went back to believing that he was alive. I thought he was with the Professor. When Jude killed him I knew he would heal himself but also since Jude stabbed him in the heart I was like well maybe since it is a fatal stab wound he wont be able to heal himself.

WAIT! SLOW DOWN!
NOAH WHAT NOW?!
HE DIED?
Maybe it's just me but BUT with out Noah, without beautiful BLOODY noah!
The books ( mainly talking about book 1 and 2 1/2) would have been as depressing as Mara's room!!!

Noami, Have you not read the 3rd book? Maybe you should read it before you look at a spoiler page :)

I don't think they ever "died" tbh. like no one died (thank god) and I'm glad they ended up happy!

and on another note I highly doubt Michelle would've actually killed off noah since she would probably be a very disliked author after... I would've been mad
