May's Motif is Author Introduction.

"Read a book written by an author who you’ve never read anything by. Bonus if its been on your TBR for more than a year."

No suggestions this month since it's up to you to pick a new-to-you author. We'd love to hear what you read in the comments! Mark CHALLENGE COMPLETE if you've finished the book.

This one sounds really interesting.

Tari (thann) Read a book written by an author who you’ve never read anything by. Bonus if its been on your TBR for more than a year.

Here's mine, it's been on my GR TBR since April 2019:

Pit Perfect Murder Renee George 5/7/20 Pit Perfect Murder (Barkside of the Moon Mysteries Book 1) by Renee George
A nice freebie that I got over a year ago, fun read by a new-to-me author, and who could resist the slobbering adorable dog on the cover, not me lol.

Cecil Huston | 224 comments Challenge complete! Death’s Imperfect Witness was not bad, got better as the story went on. Agree with the reviewer that says looks like they forgot to finish editing, many typos and hyphenated words that shouldn’t be. May read the sequel, as it seems worthwhile. Think I picked it as it was from a Minnesota writer, and based in Minnesota. Lots of good twists. On to the next challenge for this month, keyword!

Elizabeth Turlington | 15 comments So, I decided to change the book for Author Introduction since my friend introduced me to another one that got me hooked! I’ll be reading “The God Game by Danny Toby this month. I’m only 16% through and it already has me stressed lol!
