The Complete Works Challenge 2015

I just posted my Robert K. Massie list. I read Catherine the Great: Portrait of a Woman in September 2013 and Peter the Great: His Life and World in September 2014, so I won't re-read those in 2015. I am planning to re-read Nicholas and Alexandra which I read and loved years ago when my oldest daughter was still getting up for 2am feedings. I agree that he's a brilliant writer, and his works are very well researched.

I don't see my name in the participant list at the top of this thread. Could you put my name in? Thanks..

The first, Hear the Wind Sing, is out of print but GR had the ebook available for download, so I'm good there. This article also says it is set to be re-translated in 2015:
The second is a follow-on to the first, Pinball, 1973. It is not available at my library, nor any other library in Texas where we do inter-library loans. I have found it for sale online, but for hundreds of dollars. This will be part of the two-novella re-translation expected out late in 2015.
So...is it okay if I exclude the second novella from my complete works?

1.Sense and Sensibility
2.Pride and Prejudice
3.Mansfield Park
4.Northanger Abbey
5.Persuasion
6.Emma
And if Iam able to finish, I will try Doestevsky.

I think you might have missed me as well- I didn't see my name on the participant thread.

Adriana, by all means if you are unable to get the books from the library leave them out. I've had to do that as I just don't have the funds to buy a whole heap of books that I'll probably only read once.

I'm not re-reading books read in the past few years, but I do plan a couple of re-reads of books read many years ago.

Hi Caro
If you've read something recently by an author then just read those books you haven't read. Does that help you?

Toni Morrison:
Jazz
Home
Song of Solomon
Love
Tar Baby
Sula
The Bluest Eye
Paradise
Available in April 2015: God Help the Child
May not reread from 2014:
Beloved

I'm thinking about also adding Banana Yoshimoto to this Challenge! I'll see what other yearly challenges are out before I commit to that.

ANNE RICE: Using the complete b..."
Hi Theresa,
Robert K. Massie is a brilliant writer. I read his book on Catherine last year I think and found it very rich reading. I've put a couple more of his books on my TBR list.
