(TBR stands for: to be read)


Since we all have ever growing piles of books to read, I though a little TBR cleanse before 2010 starts wouldn't hurt. It's a lite challenge - nothing to stress about.

TBR Challenge Rules:
* the challenge is to read 4 TBR books in 4 months (or 3 TBR books in 3 Months if you want to start in October instead of now)
* you can read those all in one month if you want, or one a month, or however you wanna do it
* you need to have a list posted somewhere for others to see (post it below or in your own thread)
* you cannot change your list after you post it
* you can create an alternates list of maximum 3 books, if you want, in order to have options to choose from (you can read these in place of books on your original list).
* audiobooks and e-books are allowed
* re-reads are not allowed, as they aren't true "TBRs"
* you can overlap with other challenges if you want to, no biggie
* the order you read your books in does not matter

So all this requires is to read 4 books - a piece of pie, right? If... IF you are a heavy reader, determined to make a seizable dent in your TBR, go ahead and commit to more books. If you choose to do so (say you plan on reading 16 books off your TBR), then your alternate list grows proportionately (you get to list 16 alternate books).
