Jülie ☼♄  (jlie) | 6577 comments As my Personal Challenge for 2015 I plan to read as many Aussie Authors..of my own choosing..as I can, and list them here so that I can see at the end of the year how many different genre's I chose from and how they rate.

This challenge is not gender specific so it will be interesting to see which way the scales tip in that regard also.
I already have several books that I have been saving for this challenge and am really looking forward to reading those, some from new authors too, for some variety.
I'm also hoping some of my favorites from 2014 will have new offerings for me to include as well.

I wont be reading exclusively Aussie Authors, and will of course be reading and enjoying books by international authors in between these, thus I have no fixed total in mind....so all pleasure and no pressure :)

Veronica ⭐️ | 2382 comments Sounds like a fun challenge Julie. I look forward to following your reviews.

Jülie ☼♄  (jlie) | 6577 comments Thanks Veronica, I've been looking forward to doing this for some time and have had to hold back on reading some of my "cantwaittoreadthis" books ... which has called for a lot of restraint! ;) some did slip through the cracks however and I just hope they write more pronto.

I've always been a big fan Michael, so I see this as a great way to showcase our extremely talented locals ;))

Emily Morgan (emilymmorgan) | 15 comments good luck! It's nice to see more genre Aussie authors getting some attention lately, as well as literary. I look forward to stealing some ideas of what to read from you...

message 19: by Ryan (new)

Ryan I realised, to my utter disgust, that I only read one Aussie author in 2014; the short story Nighttime in Caeli-Amur by Rjurik Davidson.

That's why I joined this challenge. I have a baker's dozen (because is there really any other kind of dozen?) of Aussie authors on my to-read-in-2015 shelf. And Markus Zusak isn't one of them.

Thank you Mary, I love this challenge and have 'stockpiled' quite a few authors for it, so loads more to come.
Most of these I rate quite highly because they are books I have (mostly) chosen myself so I'm pretty sure I will like them.
