Jool's 2015 Aussie Author Challenge

Oh yes indeed Kathryn, rubbing my **hands** together in anticipation :D

I've always been a big fan Michael, so I see this as a great way to showcase our extremely talented locals ;))

Lots of variety I hope Sally :)

Thanks Sharon, I'll be keeping an eye on yours too ;)

Yay, I know it will Brenda, I'm a bit of a AA fan so its my favourite type of challenge :)

What's not to like eh? World class ;D

#1.
The Silk Thief by Deborah Challinor
A highly recommended 5ȴ.

That's why I joined this challenge. I have a baker's dozen (because is there really any other kind of dozen?) of Aussie authors on my to-read-in-2015 shelf. And Markus Zusak isn't one of them.

You'd better fix that this year then Ryan:)

Thanks Emily, I've got a lot lined up...and more insinuating themselves upon me all the time! ;)

How about you turn your bakers dozen into your own personal challenge for this year Ryan?

Can't disagree with you there Sally ;)

Thanks Suzanne, this is the personal challenge I have set for myself for 2015, I want to shine a light on as many Aussie authors as I can manage during the course of the year. :)

Tell Me Why by Sandi Wallace. 4ȴ.
Looking forward to the next one from this author!

And that you're doing!

Thank you Mary, I love this challenge and have 'stockpiled' quite a few authors for it, so loads more to come.
Most of these I rate quite highly because they are books I have (mostly) chosen myself so I'm pretty sure I will like them.

Saving Wishes by G.J. Walker-Smith
Very enjoyable 1st in series YA book.

This challenge is not gender specific so it will be interesting to see which way the scales tip in that regard also.
I already have several books that I have been saving for this challenge and am really looking forward to reading those, some from new authors too, for some variety.
I'm also hoping some of my favorites from 2014 will have new offerings for me to include as well.
I wont be reading exclusively Aussie Authors, and will of course be reading and enjoying books by international authors in between these, thus I have no fixed total in mind....so all pleasure and no pressure :)
