It’s time for another Monthly Reading Wrap Up! I hope everyone is staying safe and working though your long to read lists!

This month I read

The Conference of the Birds by Ransom Riggs- I didn’t enjoy this installment of the series as much as I have others in the Miss Peregrine series, but it was still a fun read. This book definitely sets you up for the grand finale in the sixth and what I think is going to be the final book. I’m interested to see where it goes.

Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens- Finally read this one after all the hype of the past almost two years. Was it worth the hype? In some ways yes, and in some ways no. I wasn’t sure what to expect going into this book and it started kind of slow, but I will say the last 100 or so pages suck you in and make for a strong finish to the story.

Darling Rose Gold by Stephanie Wrobel- When I finished this book everything in me wanted to compare it to Gone Girl, or at least the way I felt when I finished it. When I finished Gone Girl I wanted to run away from the characters screaming because they were so crazy, and I felt much the same after this book. However, not as strongly as I did when I finished Gone Girl. This book takes unlikeable and unreliable narrators and an interesting premise and does well to create a gripping story that I had a hard time putting down.

What did you read this month? Be sure to share down below!

Happy Reading!

Cadi | 42 comments I loved Where the Crawdads Sing but I've heard various opinions on it, that's for sure.

I read Sharp Objects, Yes Please, Speak, and The Great Alone. That was the first Kristin Hannah book for me and I really enjoyed it. Well, the first 2/3 of it anyway.
