Hi everyone, I've gone ahead and set up the A-Z challenge for this year as that was one that several people wanted to do.
Don't stress about the letters, for the harder ones just ensure the title contains the relevant letter.

The point is to have fun and get some great reads in for 2015.

Don't forget about the suggestion to do A-Z authors as well, you can do one or the other, combine them and use authors names for the hard to get titles (that's what I'm doing) or do both and challenge yourself to 48 instead of 24. Whatever sounds good to you.

message 12: by Justin (last edited Jan 02, 2015 08:27AM) (new)

Justin (justineaton) | 3492 comments Mod
It was a suggestion in the what challenges do you want to do in 2015 thread. I just figured If we make one A-Z challenge everyone can do whatever they want. It wasn't my idea but I wanted to share here in case anyone wanted to do it. If you want to do both you can just set your goal to 48 and do it in the same challenge. I'm going to just do titles but maybe fill some authors in at the end of the year.

Kaisersoze 9 to go for me, Kate. But it's been a long time since I managed to add to the list. As you say, might have to start choosing reads more carefully...

Yep, we're already almost halfway through the year, yeesh! I have 6 left but E, M, Q, X, Y, and Z :)

I was actually thinking of reading Zombie by Joyce Carol Oates for Z because it would also go towards some other challenges too and I've been really wanting to read it.

I thought I would go with The Yellow Wallpaper, I've been meaning to read it for ages and it's free on Ammy.
I wish I had picked up You when it was on sale, it's back up to $11.99. :(

RachelvlehcaR (charminggirl) | 299 comments If I was able to add the other books I've read this year I think I'd be finished with the challenge but since I'm only counting the genre of horror this makes it challenging. Still I'm not doing too bad. I just finished my "E" book. Just 5 more books: K, O, X, Y, and Z.

Joyland is a great book. It more of a mystery and King does a great job in making it feel so nostalgic and his character build up. I found it a fun read.
