Wendy wrote: "Hello! I love the idea of this group! Does anyone know why it went silent?"
Hi Wendy, I am the group owner, and it went silent because I went back to school to get my Ph.D. at UBC Faculty of Forestry and didn't make time for it (clearly, as you wrote your question years ago). I'm in my final year now and reviving this group. :)

More Trees Please is a community for people who appreciate trees and forests and want to connect with others who share this interest and gain a greater understanding of them through reading fiction and nonfiction books.
Where did the name come from?
It popped into my head one day. Then I found it used in hashtags on various social media platforms and decided to go with it, hoping to connect with other tree people.
Is this club just for people who like trees?
Yes, however, if you want to learn to like trees, then it's also for you.
When does the club meet?
Here! If there is enough interest, we may decide to meet online in the future.
Where can I find the books you talk about?
Current picks are on the group’s home page. You can find lists of the previous picks on the group’s Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ bookshelves.
Who picks the books?
The MTP members seeded the list, and more will be added as we go.
Can I suggest a book?
Each month, there will be a thread to suggest books to be added to the poll. You can also tell us what you’d like the group to read at Suggested Reads.
Can anyone start a new discussion topic?
Yes. You must be a member of the group and abide by the group rules. The topic should relate to books, trees, forests, etc.
