Some good reading there, Marie! The Konrath book, Trapped, is one of my all time favs. Still gives me nightmares.

Thank you, Wendy! Cool about Trapped, but not that it gives you nightmares! Yikes! It seems I have something to look forward to then! :)

There have been a few of his books that have stayed with me after reading them.

Just finished the whole trilogy! A great read, unique story for a vampire/demon/paranormal romance.

And it was completely amazing, with twists and turns I didn't expect. Now I'm on to Sleepy Hollow Rise Headless and Ride (Jason Crane, #1) by Richard Gleaves

Webcam

Twisted but Konrath, as usual, throws in enough humor to keep it from getting too intense.

Char | 17392 comments I'm reading Faithless by Hunter Shea . I'm a bit late with this ARC and I haven't had much time to read yet this week. However, after only 5% I know this is going to be really good.

The first story, The Divinity Student, which is also the first Cisco I’ve read, is so amazing, so unlike anything else I’ve ever read, that I can’t put it into words. Seriously, I get tears in my eyes and can’t speak. I will never give up this book.
I’m in the middle of the second story, The Golem, and it’s not hitting me the same way. There are parts where I’m wishing we could just get to the next scene!
What is the Cisco you read and how did you like it?

I didn't realize that Adam Nevill had a new book out, the cover was hard to resist so I'm reading this right now, about 5%in so far.

Cunning Folk by Adam Nevill

The person that set up this book was missing so many details and the entire description, sheesh lol, I fixed up the paperback and kindle details.

That one is actually a freebie from the author's website. Let's say Herbert Mullin was an interesting case...

Krystal (krystallee6363) | 875 comments Currently reading Winterset Hollow which I believe is supposed to be horror but so far just reads like a really long-winded children's story. But I'm not even 100 pages in yet so I still have hope! And I'm actually rather enjoying the eloquence of the writing.

Michelle | 307 comments I re-reading The Vampire Lestat. I last read this one twenty years ago, and I remember it being one of my favorites of the series. It holds up twenty years later.

And I'm reading I Remember You by Yrsa Sigurðardóttir for the first time. It's a ghost story set in an isolated house in Iceland. I'm only on pg 80 but it's really good so far.
