Janice (jamasc) | 59018 comments I'm on the Maskwa River in northern Canada. I just climbed a tree and saw a huge fire approaching us. Ever heard the saying, 'Up the river without a paddle'? We have a paddle, but I don't know if we're going to be fast enough to get out.

I'm also contemplating the River of Styx. I refuse to believe that I'm dead, so why would I cross over?

Roz | 4470 comments I'm in a cabin in the Minnesota woods getting my memory back of what happened there. It's very stressful. I'll be leaving soon.

Margo | 11432 comments I'm in a victorian, english hospital, I'm not sure why. I'm supposed to be trying to recall what happened to me.

message 454: by Abby (new)

Abby | 270 comments I'm a tattoo artist in a tiny town in the middle of the desert. I've just given the man I've been sketching for weeks a tattoo of his future and clipped an old guy with my car. He's already up and complaining and in the tattoo so I'm pretty sure that he's (regrettably) going to survive.

message 461: by Kristie, Moderator (new)

Kristie | 18739 comments We are certainly in some interesting places today!

I'm heading to a remote cabin in the northern Appalachian woods where I live with my young daughter.

I will likely visit Scotland as well where I am very socially awkward and obsessed with a singer.

message 462: by Margo (new)

Margo | 11432 comments I'm part of the old guard in an english public school (i.e. fee paying) which has recently started to accept girls. A young lady has just told me she has her period and I think I've had a heart attack!

Janice (jamasc) | 59018 comments I'm in Bloody Mary, Virginia. I'm a coroner and about to view the grizzly remains of a woman well known in the town. I'll bet her abusive husband killed her.

Later today, I'll head to 1880 St Louis amidst of all the ghosts. Apparently, I've been cursed.

So I just landed in Manilla in the Philippines

I'm also still in Visidia, trying to save my kingdom.

message 469: by Jackie (new)

Jackie | 290 comments It is 1939 and I am in England. Unfortunately, I have become pregnant and my parents have arranged for me to go to a facility to live, I will never be allowed to return home again. I'm not sure if I will ever be released from this facility because since 1927, "moral defectives" include criminals, alcoholics and prostitutes –and also unmarried mothers. Moral defectives should not be around other people.

I'm also eating "frogs".

Katrisa | 4171 comments I am in Troy. The Trojan women are all enslaved. It's rough

Janice (jamasc) | 59018 comments I'm in Salzburg where I just found a doorway to a magical kingdom. It's such a magical musical place.

I'm also in a fantasy world, trying to fix the problems at the border or all sorts of monsters will invade. I don't know who is friend or foe.

message 474: by Kristie, Moderator (new)

Kristie | 18739 comments I'm in England. After solving a couple of major cases, I've just started up a detective agency. I have my first potential big case when a mom contacted me about her daughter who was a journalist and disappeared 12 years ago. The police have given up on the case and my partner and I are about to give it a go.

Cherie (crobins0) | 21536 comments I haven’t checked into this thread for a while and it looks like I’m first here today.

My eyes are in the mythical city of Illin IIlan in Andarra. I just got home from visiting my mother.

I really need to go back to the village in the forrest in Sweden soon. I don’t want to miss the hockey match that the Juniors will be playing in.

My ears are taking a rest today.

message 485: by Peggy (new)

Peggy (pebbles84) | 15867 comments I'm close to doing that Margo! But it feels like a waste of all the time I already invested in it, with book 1 and now 25% into this one. I'm tempted to start another book along side it but I know I'll read much more of the other.

message 486: by Esther (new)

Esther (nyctale) | 5163 comments My eyes are reading in Peggy, Janice and Cherie dust. I am currently lost in catacombs.

My ears are trying to leave Atlanta. the Yankees are coming.

message 487: by Abby (new)

Abby | 270 comments My eyes just left a cute little tea shop that I swear is haunted. I had chamomile tea. It was just as lovey as the owner.

My ears are in Palmetto, South Carolina. The psychotic midget of my Exy team that promised to protect me just went into rehab earlier then was expected and I volunteered to protect the other person he promised to protect. I should've run when I had the chance.

message 488: by Margo (new)

Margo | 11432 comments I'm in London. Someone just left a strang jar on my doorstep, I'm seeing birds everywhere, a mad old woman has just been killed in front of me and now I'm going to work.

Peggy (pebbles84) | 15867 comments I can finally do the eyes/ears thing!

My eyes are in Mason, Missouri, teaching a baking class.

My ears just witnessed an 18th century foot amputation. Yikes, listening to it makes it more vivid than reading it, for some reason.

Aha, so that's why you did it LOL

I'm somewhere in Aus with my dysfunctional (i.e. perfectly normal) family. My mum is missing and I'm starting to think my dad had something to do with it 😕

Ah that makes sense! I loved The Red Tent, so hope you are too although it is confronting at times. Wasn't sure if I had missed another retelling.
