I have Sharp Objects and The Martian coming up this year... Can't wait!!! Also, going to re-read It -- an old favorite !!!

Curious to see that you weren't ..."

Hey, Stephanie.

Well... Recently I'm having a problem with Young Adult books. I don't even know why.
Before this year, i loved reading Young Adult.

I didn't like "We were liars", because Candance was soo soo sooooo inmature for me.
First: I remember she was all time like "This is love, this is real love, Gat, my Gat." And I was like "You are 15 years old, you only see him once a year, you dont even know him at all, you dont know little things about him, that isn't love, Candace."
Second: I remember one night she got drunk because Gat had a girlfriend. Again: She was 15 years old.

I am not against people who is 15 years old, and find love or something like that. I mean, I'm 17, lol. But, for me, Gat was a fancy for Candace. I didn't feel the conexion.
And I didn't understand Why someone like Gat, can be in love with someone like Candace.

Oh, and I don't like summer love.

I think the characters was very forced.
I know many people like the narration, but I didn't.

About the secret.. No offense, but I think it was inmature. Burn the grandparents house? Really? They thought it was the perfect crime, and then they thought that would solve everything.

I had a theory. Candace is really dead, she doesn't know that yet. She died in the island; the secret is someone raped her and kill her, and she imagine everything.
I know. Twisted.
What I liked about this book was the dead cousins and i wanted finish this book because the secret.

I think this book it was ok. But not for me. For me this book has so many mistakes.

Not my cup of tea.
But I'm glad you like it.
And is only my opinion, im not trying to offense.

Btw, I love love love It, I have to re-read sometime.
