Susanna - Censored by GoodReads (susannag) | 2145 comments What book about the Tudors or Tudor England would you like to have as our Group Read in March 2021?

If it's in a series, can it be easily read as a stand-alone? If not, you might want to nominate the first book in the series, or the most recent book in it the group has not read together.

Can't remember what we've already read as a group? (Sometimes I can't, either.) There's a "group-reads" shelf on the group's Bookshelf.

Two nominations to a person, please.

Susanna - Censored by GoodReads (susannag) | 2145 comments If anyone still has a nomination to make, now would be a good time.

message 7: by Judy (new)

Judy | 13 comments I nominate Henry: Virtuous Prince by David Starkey and Catherine of Aragon by Giles Tremlett

Susanna - Censored by GoodReads (susannag) | 2145 comments The poll is now open. You'll find it at the top of the group's Polls page, the bottom of its Home page, or here: /poll/show/2... .

Susanna - Censored by GoodReads (susannag) | 2145 comments If voting ended now (which it doesn't, quite), the easy winner would be Mary Queen of Scots and the Murder of Lord Darnley by Alison Weir. (Which is what I was expecting, with this group's track record on Alison Weir!)

Susanna - Censored by GoodReads (susannag) | 2145 comments The Alison Weir was indeed the easy winner, and we'll be discussing it here: /topic/show/... .
